Hand therapists working close to patients undergoing tetrahand reconstrucctions met in March 2011 in Göteborg to exchange and discuss specific rehabilitation protocols. Several issues were addressed, for example how to exercise upper limb after spasticity-reducing surgery, when and how to inform patients prior to surgical intervention, splinting techniques and practical work with newly operated and follow-up patients.
